Serving Patients Since 2005

As a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified life coach, I am here to guide you through the many challenges we face as we navigate life.  Since 2005, I have provided a number of specialized therapeutic services to those dealing with challenging life experiences. I provide holistic, compassionate therapy for individuals navigating life's challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth.  My work recognizes that emotional well-being is shaped by the whole person-including thoughts, feelings, relationships, physical health, identity, values, and life experiences. Patient well-being and satisfaction is my one number priority.  My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in the belief that healing is not one-size-fits-all. I am passionate about working with every individual and their families, whenever needed, to help reach the goals we set together.

A Little About Me

I was born and raised in Southern California.   I obtained my Bachelors Degree in psychology and later went on to get a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at San Diego State University.   Additionally, I played football in college and believe an active lifestyle is essential in the holistic approach to mental health.  I always knew I had the calling to work with others.  I have spent many years providing therapy to children & adolescents and adults in psychiatric crisis both in Southern California and Florida.  Additionally, I have worked with clients that are challenged with addiction and eating disorders.  I have provided care to children as young as 4 and adults as old as 75, working with many couples and families along the way.

My subspecialty is Athlete Mental Health & Wellness.  I enjoy working with athletes and former athletes navigating the emotional and psychological challenges that can come with injury, time away from competition or stepping away from their sport altogether.  Learning to separate their sport from their identity can be challenging and my work focuses on helping athletes cope with the emotional impact of these transitions and provide them space to develop a more balanced sense of identity and purpose.  The qualities and confidence that were held during sports are great tools that can help with success-disciple, resilience, commitment, leadership and perseverance-can continue to serve them long after the game changes.

When not working with clients, I spend my free time with my wife and children in Central Florida, the place we currently call home.
